Puppy Classes
Puppies are able to register at Dognostics as soon as their second course of vaccinations has been completed. The aim of these classes is to enable the puppy to socialize with one another before the window of opportunity is missed thereby lessening the chance of your puppy becoming fearful and timid around unfamiliar environments and towards adults, children and other dogs. We encourage off lead activities although we do not allow dogs to bully one another and these sessions are well controlled. We teach basic manners and help with puppy behaviours such as jumping up, nipping and biting.

Adult Pet Dog Classes
These classes are designed to enable the owner to gain the necessary skills through reward-based methods of training to increase their knowledge and understanding as to how the dog learns and how a handler can influence the dog's behaviour. The emphasis of these lessons is for the dog to become a well-balanced individual with good manners.

Obedience Classes
These classes are available for those owners who wish to increase their handling skills and to gain good control over set commands. This is a good way to begin some competitive work and to have fun at the same time. At Dognostics we run events whereby we invite independent judges for the night. This gives handlers and dogs a flavour of competition work.

Agility
This class is a great way of increasing you and your dog's fitness level. For this session dogs need to be over 12 months old and be able to work off lead. Handlers and dogs need to be physically fit to participate. Unfortunately some breeds of dogs are not suitable for this activity therefore on some occasions we would have to offer an alternative class that is more appropriate.

Healwork to music
This class is definately for those handlers who wish to take up the challange of teaching their dogs new moves and tricks. The emphasis is on dog and handler having fun. Handlers need a certain amount of control as most moves need to be off the lead.
